Learning space facilitators who are interested to provide assistance to students in a mixed classroom for courses for our co[de] + create 15-18 project and co[de] + create 18-24 project  should express their interest by sending their cv at admin@eellak.gr by November, 16th. The courses will be held in Athens from November 2017 until March 2018.

 

Job Description

The Learning space coordinator / workshop facilitator is in charge of the following tasks:

– Present on weekdays from 17.00 – 21.00 and weekends from 09:00-18:00

– Set-up of hardware and learning space on site

– In charge of secure storage of hardware on site

–  Distribute refreshments and snacks for all participants

– Input for social media and communications work in collaboration with GFOSS and FCA

– Keep track of attendance sheets each weekend and prepare appropriate reports

– Collect Signed Consents for participation and for permission to take photographs

– Hand out public transportation tickets every week

– Identify and engage with issues, challenges, and opportunities to facilitate learning and integration

Requirements

– Fluency in English

– Perfect organisational skills

– Strong Computer skills and being comfortable with open source tools(linux, libreoffice, gimp, etc…).

– Prior work with refugees or mixed groups will be considered as a plus
