This is an introductory course in Python for students, ages 15-17. The purpose of the course is to help students become acquainted with basic concepts of programming through a high level language and be able to create simple arcade games using Python and pygame library.
Python is a widely used high-level programming language for general-purpose programming that is widely used by various organizations such as Google, Yahoo and Youtube.
In this course you will have a general introduction to programming languages, learn the basic instructions of Python, its basic concepts and how to create graphics using python. You will also learn how to create animations and by the end of the course you will have the skills to create a simple video game!
